Recently I’ve been thinking about all the sustainable and ethical goodies that I’ve been loving recently, and wanted to do another sustainable wish list. However, it isn’t my birthday or Christmas and I can’t think of any other excuse to want people to buy me gifts. Instead, I figured I’d just share the brands I’ve been loving (and wanting!) as my monthly favorites. So here are some of my ethical/sustainable favorites for the month of March!
Genesis Fair Trade Phone Case
My current phone case has been looking a little worn out recently, and I think this case by Genesis Fair Trade is so cute. I also love what the company stands for! Genesis Fair Trade partners with artisans around the world, paying fair wages and empowering their communities. You can read more about what they do here, and check out some of their other lovely pieces.
Free Bella Bathing Suit
It’s finally starting to warm up so now I have a reason to include a bathing suit on my lists. I love this top by Free Bella and they have so many other cute options as well! Their bathing suits are made with sustainable materials and manufactured in Los Angeles. They’re also incredibly transparent about their process and pricing, which is a huge plus, you can read more about that here!
Shop Saul Off-the-Shoulder Blouse
I love this off-the-shoulder top by Shop Saul, especially the polka dots and the front tie detail. What I also love about Shop Saul is that their apparel is made in Los Angeles with dead-stock and vintage fabrics. You can read more about them and check out their other items here!
Christy Dawn Dress
Christy Dawn is a brand I just recently discovered, and this is their namesake Dawn Dress. It’s such a beautiful piece, which is especially perfect for the warmer weather! Christy Dawn is also made in Los Angeles using dead-stock fabric. They’re very transparent about how their dresses are made and have a detailed timeline on their website!
I’ve mentioned previously how I find it difficult to find sustainable footwear. This problem has definitely improved as I’ve researched more, but I’m still always very excited when I find a new brand of sustainable or ethical shoes. Nisolo Shoes has many different designs, but I particularly love their Mariella Mules. All Nisolo producers receive fair wages, benefits, and a healthy working environment. You can read more about their mission here!
Those are a few of my current favorites for the month of March that I’ve been dying to get. If you have any new ethical or sustainable brands you’ve been loving recently share them and maybe I’ll include them in my April favorites!
